Using SmartPlanner is easy and simple.

One of the key features of a SmartPlanner plan is that it can be emailed to any other colleague who has Microsoft Excel. They will be able to view the plan and update % complete against any task even without a licence. All colleagues with a SmartPlanner licence will be able to view and modify the whole plan.
